Long Coat Motion Pictures, a California Corporation, was established as the umbrella entity for the work of Scott JT Frank, a 20 year veteran of the Entertainment Industry. In addition to the many television shows and the motion pictures created by Long Coat and the other related companies, this site is the repository of the yet un-produced material and a showcase for some of the lesser known projects.
Ball Buster
Logline:
When Buster, a friendless 30's stoner grown rich on water hazard golf balls, learns he is being audited, he takes an extended vacation to Africa. After a near death experience with a hippo, he finds friendship, true love and ultimately is reaquainted with his neglected soul.

Synopsis.
Buster Epps, a boyish 38 year old stoner, makes his fortune excavating golf balls from the water hazards of South Florida. When his accountant announces an IRS audit, Buster jets to South African with his newly acquainted club buddy, Richard Botha.
While acquiring South African golf balls, Buster runs into a hippo and lands in a children’s hospital (only available bed??). With no acumen for kids, he receives a panicked call from his accountant: Buster is not only broken, but busted. His despondency attracts the compassion of Jackson, a bald headed refugee, but is resented by his perky nurse, Kanta, who sees him as a spoiled American jerk.
Confounded by his feelings for Kanta, Buster must win her heart by going against his powerful X-buddy, who plans to use Buster to shut down the hospital and build another beachfront high rise.
